Educational and Legal Credentials:

Ephraim completed his undergraduate education at Tuskegee University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After working several years as a design engineer for International Paper Company, he continued his education at the Columbia University School of Law. It was there Ephraim earned his Juris Doctor and was distinguished as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, a Patricia Roberts Harris Fellow, and the Staff Editor of the Columbia-VLA Journal of Law and the Arts.

Ephraim is a current member of the State Bar of Georgia and is active in the Bar’s Business Law and Real Property Sections.

Legal Background:

Ephraim has built strong experience as a business attorney in the areas of real estate and corporate law. He has provided service as an attorney and consultant for various corporations and law firms over two decades. He was the Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs for a publicly traded entertainment company and later served as General Counsel for an early-stage company in the battery charging technology space. He also led the successful integration of two strategic corporate acquisitions, with both domestic and international operations, for a Fortune 100 logistics company.

For each transaction I handle, I first get an understanding of my client’s objectives and risk tolerance so I can provide the best guidance to achieve the best outcome.

In addition to his work as a corporate attorney, Ephraim has served as trusted real estate counsel for banks, developers and investors throughout his legal career - advising these clients on organizational matters, acquisitions, loan documentation, leasing and the resolution of title defects.

Personal Background

When not serving his clients or spending time with his family, Ephraim can often be found creating thunderous grooves with his bass guitar and honoring his skills as a Yoshukai Karate practitioner.
