Its portfolio includes celebrated Atlanta restaurants such as Bread & Butterfly, Breaker Breaker along the Atlanta Beltline, El Malo at Atlanta Dairies, Colette Bread & Bakeshop, and The Daily, as well as significant work at Star Metals District, The Interlock, The Works, Southern Post, and Georgia Tech’s Ramblin’ Reck Garage. Square Feet Studio is recognized for architectural rigor, interior detail, and community-focused placemaking.
Situation: Blue Sky Law represented the seller, Square Feet Studio, in its acquisition by St. Louis-based Arcturis. The transaction resulted in the creation of a new co-branded practice, Arcturis | Square Feet Studio, aligning both teams and leadership while maintaining studios in Atlanta and St. Louis. Clients were assured continuity, with existing project teams and primary contacts remaining unchanged through the merger.
Results: The acquisition expands both firms' capabilities and geographic reach, leveraging Arcturis’s nearly 50 years of national design leadership and sustainability commitments alongside Square Feet Studio’s award-winning regional expertise. The combination enables larger, more complex, and ambitious projects across the Midwest and Southeast while preserving the high-touch client experience and core values of both practices.
